Questing
This is basic Questing information.
In order to quest an item, it must be claimed and you must have trained Avatar
Max to be quested into an item (counting hitroll, damroll, ac, stats, hp, mana, move):
1260 + (10 x status) for created items
760 + (10 x status) for MUD items
When you sac eq, you get back qp spent on hitroll, damroll, and ac. The rest is lost.
Once you quest an item idestructible, it can't be sac'd and all invested qp are lost.
If you are new and starting to spend qp, this is what I recomend:
- start by questing hitroll/damroll 5/5 onto each piece of your newbie eq
- also make sure you enchant your weapons (scroll or parchment)
- once you're done with hitroll/damroll, work on ac
- as you are able to get better eq (blackhands, rop, chitin, etc...) sac your newbie eq and use those qp to quest the new and improved eq
- you will also want to use created eq for items you can't find with hitroll/damroll 5/5
- as you replace newbie eq, make sure you keep your stats (str, int, wis, dex, and con) at 25
